Land Volunteer Day – Summer 2016

Thanks to everyone who volunteered on the sanctuary land! The Weaver Family is an amazing family who comes and clears out our nature trail and cuts down our dead trees!

We tried to wood chip the dead wood but realized we need an industrial-sized wood chipper for all of our dead wood!

Feel free to visit the land at W8782 County Rd M in Westfield, WI. It is a beautiful time of year to view it. We apologize the tribute bricks have not been permanently placed in the ground due to a delay with the contractor, but you can still view them at the entry way of the trail.

Thanks to everyone for your support, we are making great progress daily and we should be helping our first monkey by 2017!

Thanks Monika for bringing your friend from Russia, Igor, to help us out and for taking these beautiful pictures!

Beginning of foundation - The cement you see are breaker walls that will help with the longevity of the building and prevent it from sinking into the ground over time and becoming uneven.
